Philosophy

It is the philosophy of American Community Management, Inc.  to take an all-encompassing position in managing the business affairs of our Clients. Accordingly, we consider ourselves the partners of our Client Board Members, sharing in their accomplishments and achievements, critically reviewing their issues and taking a pro-active approach in resolving Association challenges. With full knowledge that the Board is comprised of volunteers, we undertake all day-to-day details of managing the business and leave the Board to focus on policy, corporate culture and contractual decisions.

We consider the owners of the homes we manage our Customers.  We will treat Customers with the respect and dignity they deserve.  We will attempt to "wow" each and every one of our Customers with outstanding, dependable and consistent service.

We view the elements that comprise each Client as a Community - not merely a "property". It is the whole of the Community -- its people;  its assets;  its equipment, buildings and grounds;  its status within its larger municipality; its long-term viability -- that we are entrusted to manage to the best of our ability using sound business judgment. We will treat the various components that make up the Community as we would treat our own, with the same amount of interest, personal commitment and passion.

Our philosophy in our industry is simply "to be the best".  Therefore, we will not endeavor to manage a short-sighted community, nor one whose resources have been mismanaged or abused to the degree that a first-class management program is neither desirable nor attainable.  We will, however, take-on exceptional challenges provided the Board shares our philosophies and objectives, and desires to achieve excellence without compromise.

Finally, we will operate our business with the utmost of integrity in all things we do.   And most important, we will manage the businesses of our Clients in a like manner.
