At ACM Community Management we work very hard at developing our personnel so they can succeed and reach their goals in their professional life. One of these individuals who joined ACM several years ago in an entry level position and who has now reached the level of a successful Property Manager, is Darrin McDonald.
Darrin joined ACM in July of 2010, as a Customer Care representative. During his two years in that position, Darrin learned about the industry and decided that becoming a property manager would be a good step in his career path. So, in 2012, he received his professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). After that, Darrin worked for three years as an on-site Community Manager at a 350 unit association. At this time, Darrin also became licensed by the State of Illinois as a Community Association Manager (CAM) and obtained his Accredited Management Specialist (AMS) professional designation. After Darrin spent three years on-site, he transitioned into the position of portfolio manager overseeing communities in the Northwest Suburbs, based out of our Roselle office.
In his spare time, Darrin enjoys being with his wife and two small children, playing hockey and golf and visiting his extended family in Michigan.
